"Gathering Light", the Women's International Glass Network Exhibition Image

Patrick Reyntiens recently opened an exhibition at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Liverpool, England. "Gathering Light" runs until August 27, 2008 and features works by members of the Women's International Glass Network (WIGN). Exhibitors include Cedar Prest (Australia), Sachiko Yamamoto (Japan), Catrin Jones (Wales), Amber Hiscott (Wales), and Sigridur Asgeirdottir (Iceland). The event also marks the 20th anniversary of the WIGN and coincides nicely with the fact the Liverpool is the European Capital of Culture for 2008.

Unfortunately, I don't have an exhaustive list of exhibitors, and the Cathedral website doesn't provide much additional information about the event, but you can read more about the event in this article from the Liverpool Daily post by Vicky Anderson.
