The Southern Artists Cooperative embraces creative diversity while promoting entrepreneurship and combining resources throughout Southwest Georgia. Providing artists an opportunity to display and distribute artwork while providing art educational opportunities in the form of workshops and seminars for artists and others. The Cooperative is a place where the artist's work has dignity and importance and is not treated as a background decoration. It is a place organized and operated by artisans and promotes sustainable economic development of the region's communities by assisting local artisans with marketing, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities featuring Georgia Made-Georgia Grown items.

Stop by and enjoy paintings, photography, pottery, painted gourds, stained glass, baskets, jewelery, and folk-art at 119 West Water Street Bainbridge, Georgia located in The Firehouse Center and Gallery building. The hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday, Friday and Saturday or inquire about membership, sign-up for classes or just chat with an artist.
