In the early stages of the re-launch of the site, Elizabeth wrote an article about her "soul house" — Chartres Cathedral in France. I have just found this gallery of stained glass, sculpture, interior & exterior images of Chartres Cathedral. The gallery is hosted by the Digital Archive of Architecture at Boston College, and the images were taken by Professor Jeffery Howe. I found the interior shots to be particularly amazing.
The site also has a slew of images of other architectural masterpieces and wonders (from prehistoric to modern times) that you may find interesting even though the focus is on architecture over stained glass.
