Call for Entries

We would like to offer my season's greetings to you.

Thank you very much for your continuous support for operation of this Executive Committee.

Toyama City is proud to announce the Toyama International Glass Exhibition 2018, a triennial　international open-submission glass art exhibition, for the first time as Toyama City in 2018.

Toyama City has been working on the “Glass Art City, Toyama” project for over 30 years.

We hope this exhibition will provide an opportunity for contemporary glass art to further flourish all over the world, and will offer a new forum for the breadth of creative expression within the medium of glass in the 21st century.

We would like to meet many attractive works. In particular, we cordially request you to take necessary measures so that all those concerned be informed.

Finally, we request your cooperation and hope this exhibition will be great success.

Open call for entries: Fri., September 1, 2017

Application deadline: Tue., March 20, 2018

2 Applications

Applicant eligibility: Open to all nationalities, ages and professional levels

Application charge: Free

Requirements: Works must be primarily composed of glass.

3 Prizes

Grand Prize: 3,000,000 JPY (1 work)

Gold Prize: 1,000,000 JPY (1 work)

Silver Prize: 200,000 JPY (5 works)
