Glass turntable cover

Hello all,

I've made a glass turntable cover to replace the acrylic one which looks like crap it seems as soon as you unpack it new. I now would like to put some sort of plastic/rubber u-channel around the raw glass edge to prevent it from scratching my turntable when putting it in place. Any suggestions where to find a channel to accomodate glass 3mm 1/8") thick?

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
