Detail of sand etched lily design in door for a private residence (2008)
22" x 65", made using sandblased design in 1" thermal pane
The lily design was created from a flower bed of lilies that the client has out in the courtyard. The lilies are deep carved in sections and frosted in others to create a natural look. The etching is inside a thermal pane to protect it. This door is actually a memorial for her dog who is buried in his favourite spot behind the lilies.
