Classes/Workshops offered by Northern Art Glass
We offer Beginner and Intermediate Courses in stained glass fabrication. Other exciting courses and glass techniques to choose from include; Kilnworks I & 2, Glass Beads I & 2, Lead Came, Painting on Glass, and Mosaics. From time to time during the year we feature mini courses on special techniques and free Demos. With two fully equipped classrooms plus a separate room for torch work we can offer more classes in the evening and/or weekends. All of our teachers are full-time glass professionals so you can be sure of expert instruction. About Northern Art Glass
N.A.G. is a team of dedicated glass professionals, some with more than 30 years experience in the art of stained glass. We excel in traditional and contemporary glass and fabrication techniques; painting, etching and engraving, fusing and kiln-forming, torch working and mosaics creating glasswork for fine homes, heritage and commercial buildings, churches and pubs.
N.A.G. creates new stained glass memorials varying from symbols of faith to beautifully rendered biblical scenes. The studio has produced literally hundreds of individual memorial windows and complete interiors for churches. We are know for our expertise in heritage glass restoration. N.A.G. has completed some of the largest restoration projects in the area including a $400,000 rehabilitation of glass at the Victoria Museum of Nature and a $196,000 project on Parliament Hill completed in the last two years.
